Our products are designed and manufactured to be worn for 10 years . Naturally, T-shirts and other tops are also manufactured with the same concept.
However, there are some tricks to keeping it fresh.
So, we would like to tell you how to wear it comfortably and without deterioration so that you can use it for a long time. Please try it out so that you can enjoy using it for a long time.
1. Wear a black or dark grey T-shirt as an undershirt.
This serves two purposes. Firstly (in the case of embroidered shirts) it protects the lining of the embroidery from touching the skin directly. Embroidery has seams on the back side, which can sting and itch if they come into contact with the skin directly, but wearing an undershirt can prevent this discomfort. Secondly, it reduces damage to the product by preventing oils from coming into contact with it directly. If oils and
penetrate the fibres, the fabric will deteriorate more easily and its lifespan will be shorter. Also, as sebum are oily, they are difficult to remove completely even in the wash, and can cause stains and yellowing. You can wear your undershirt in any colour you like, but we recommend a colour close to black as it will not interfere with the design of our T-shirts.
2. When taking off clothes, do not grab the collar, but grab the bottom hem side
When taking off a T-shirt, grab the bottom hem (the edge of the T-shirt around the waist) and lift it up from the bottom as if you're raising your arms in an upright position, so that the ribbing on the collar doesn't stretch. This is just from personal experience, but we think the most common reason a T-shirt gets ruined is when the fabric on the body is fine, but the neck area gets wrinkled and unwearable.
3. Turn your shirt inside out before washing
If shirts are washed without turning them inside out, other laundry may catch on the embroidery in the washing machine, causing the embroidery threads to unravel. Turning your shirt inside out will prevent this from happening.
4. Use a laundry net
Using a laundry net will prevent your clothes from getting pulled or tangled during the wash. This will prevent your clothes from getting damaged and prevent pilling and dust from sticking to them.
5. Hang clothes inside out
Leave the clothes turned inside out as done in step 3, and hang them without turning them right side out. This helps prevent sunburn and fading caused by UV rays. Additionally, the seams on the inside of the fabric are exposed to the wind, allowing the clothes to dry faster.
If you follow these steps, you can safely wash your laundry in normal mode with your other laundry without using the delicate washing mode.
This method is actually very effective for other clothes too. You can extend the life of your precious and expensive T-shirts, dress shirts, skirts, etc. ( Of course, be sure to follow the washing instructions specified for each product. )
