CULMINATION is a Japanese apparel brand that expresses music, art, and culture through embroidery. Every piece is embroidered in Japan, using unique techniques such as “neon embroidery” that creates a glowing, three-dimensional texture purely with thread.
Q2. How is CULMINATION’s embroidery different from others?
While most embroidery is flat, CULMINATION carefully designs each stitch angle and layering to make the surface appear three-dimensional through light reflection. Gradient effects and metallic threads are also used to achieve a luminous look. All designs are original and embroidered one by one by skilled Japanese artisans.
Q3. What does the name “CULMINATION” mean?
The word “culmination” means the peak or the result of long efforts. It represents our wish to fuse years of embroidery craftsmanship with a deep love for culture—pursuing the ultimate form of embroidered expression.
Q4. Where are the products embroidered?
All embroidery is produced in our workshop in Japan.

We use high-precision industrial embroidery machines and manage the entire process in-house—from digital data design to final stitching.
Q6. How is embroidery different from print T-shirts?
Embroidery is made of thread, giving it a raised texture that won’t fade or crack over time. It offers a more premium and durable finish compared to printed graphics.
Q7. Can I wash embroidered items?
Yes. They can be machine-washed at home. We recommend turning them inside out and using a laundry net. Please see the Care Instructions page for details.
